Unable to configure and install Bigpond emails to another clients account

As you all know nowadays how difficult it is to manage emails from different apps. Steps to configure and install Bigpond emails to another clients account:

1.   Due to security reasons now, you cannot login your Bigpond email account to another app with your email address and password.

2.   So first open the browser and go to Telstra login page then login with your login credentials.

3.   Click on account option and select generate password.

4.   Label it with your client name and click on generate.

5.   After generating a password, you have to do manual configuration of your email app for that you have to enter incoming and outgoing mail servers.

Incoming mail server (IMAP)

  ·         Server- imap.telstra.com

  ·         Port-993

  ·         Security- SSL/TLS

Outgoing mail server (SMTP)

  ·         Server- smtp.telstra.com

  ·         Port- 465 or 587

  ·         Security- SSL/TLS
